The cyber safety seminar for parents, Parenting in the Digital World, is a 90-minute, engaging and eye-opening presentation about what is really going on in our children’s digital world.

It can be presented in-person or by webinar.

Based on Clay Cranford’s acclaimed book Parenting in the Digital World, this 90-minute seminar will prepare parents to effectively supervise their children on social media sites, protect them from online threats, and restore technological balance to their homes.

The presentation is taught by law enforcement officers and educators who have extensive experience working with children and who are parents, too.

Our aim is to leave the audience feeling empowered to take control of their child’s technology, set rules and boundaries in their homes, and work with teachers and educators.

Regardless of technological experience, every attendee will walk away with simple, powerful, and compelling messages.

1. Understanding Online Threats:
As technology continues to evolve, so do the potential threats on the internet. Parents need to be aware of the latest online dangers, such as cyberbullying, online predators, artificial intelligence, pornography, and other harmful content. Our presentations provide up-to-date information on these risks, enabling parents to recognize warning signs and take proactive measures to protect their children.

2. Understanding the Mental Health Impact on Children:
Since 2010, the introduction of smartphones and social media to teens, children’s depression and anxiety have skyrocketed. Parents need to be aware of the impact of early adoption of phones and social media on their children’s long-term well-being. Based on current research, our presentation will give parents and caregivers a practical plan to reverse our teen’s collapsing mental health.
