Tinder – What every parent should know
A white circle containing a pink flame icon is centered on a pink and orange gradient background. The flame symbolizes fire or heat, and the design is minimalistic and modern.

If you search the web, you’ll discover that Tinder is all about hooking up and still the age restriction to use the app is only 12. This dating app just functions like a game; once you install the app, you’ll be invited to post a flattering photo of yourself and will request access to your location. When you are done with that, you can browse profiles of people nearby you and if you like someone, you tap the green heart. If they like you back, you’ll get a notification about your match and will open up a chat feature so that you can know each other better.

There are several problems with this app, firstly it accesses tween’s Geo-location as the purpose of this app is to find someone you can meet up in real life. Secondly, your tween can be liked by anybody and this will lead him or her into temptation. All the features of this app to make it a perfect tool for online predators and pedophiles.
