In a recent Cyber Safety Cop webinar, Agreement Without War: Building a Screen-Time Plan Together, Clayton Cranford closed out the final episode of the Screen Time Standoff negotiation series by focusing on a challenge many families know well: screen-time rules that do not stick.
Many parents already have rules around devices. The problem is that those rules are often too vague, too inconsistent, or created without enough buy-in from the child. When that happens, even reasonable limits can turn into daily arguments.
The goal is not to give up parental authority. The goal is to create a clear, written plan your child understands, helps shape, and is more likely to follow.
